Yonder Mountain String Band rolled into Austin on Saturday April 2nd, the band well into their 2016 tour, primed and ready to take on Texas. The famous Stubb's Waller Creek Amphitheater has become one of Yonder's favorite venues to frequent. The open air outdoor aesthetic of this downtown Austin venue would be the backdrop for another special night of Yonder. As the faithful Kinfolk packed in, the band took the stage and kicked things off with "Traffic Jam > Pockets". Taking off from there, the show would feature some live gems such as "New Dusty Miller", along with the title track from Yonder's 2015 release "Black Sheep". As the show unfolded and Yonder brought more heat to the Austin night, the crowd would be treated to a few more tracks from Black Sheep, including "Love Before You Can't", "Annalee", "I'm Lost", a powerful rendition of "Robots" and pulling from the band's punk-rock roots, a fast paced ripping version of "Punk Sheep".
