On the weekend of June 26th-28th, The String Cheese Incident returned to Rothbury Michigan to, once again, headline the fifth (and largest), Electric Forest. In the EF setting, the band traditionally shares the stage with friends of all musical genres, and this year's run was filled with guest sit-ins and musical highlights that we know you're going to enjoy watching in stunning HD video from the comforts of home.
Saturday night's first set featured the debut of the new SCI fan-anthem "Stop, Drop, Roll" and a spirited run through many of SCI's newer songs. The crowd settled in as darkness approached for the highly anticipated theatrical set. After opening set two with "You've Got The World," the band started the familiar opening notes of fan favorite "Texas." The madness had begun.... flying saucers, balloons, aerialists, confetti cannons, pyrotechnics, fireworks, you name it... The Ranch Arena achieved "lift-off" and the 2015 Electric Forest climax was a live performance experience that nobody will forget. Closing out the night, the band sent an honorary nod to the Grateful Dead and the GD50 celebration by performing the Dead's "Terrapin Station" jam sandwiched in between two SCI originals "Way Back Home" and "Rollover."
